“When the rain is blowing in your face, And the whole world is on your case, I would offer you a warm embrace, To make you feel my love”
She married a dreamer…a man with a need to explore… a man who saw limitless options who chose the pursuit of the dream more than the embrace of status quo. It would have been easy for her to say no, but instead she decided to make his dreams more than just a possibility, but also a reality. Somewhere along the way his dreams had become her own…
“When the evening shadows and the stars appear, And there is no one to dry your tears , I could hold you for a million years, To make you feel my love”
They were swept away by the magnitude of the pursuit… It took them further than they thought they could run and at times along the way it begged for a price greater than they thought they could pay.
“I’d go hungry, I’d go blind for you, I’d go crawling down the aisle for you, There ain’t nothing that I wouldn’t do, To make you feel my love”
But they didn’t let go, not of the dream and not of each other. They kept going after it as one pursues water.
“Nothing that I wouldn’t do, Go to the ends of the earth for you, To make you feel my love”
They couldn’t help but smile with contentment at the masterpiece they were building together. Here’s to making making more dreams come true…
lyrics by Bob Dylan, inspired by Adele’s version “Make you feel my love”
